First Date

Your first date in how long?

So your fresh to the dating scene huh? nothing like the first date... especially if you have been out of the dating scene for awhile.

But not to worry! Here are a few hints to get your date off to a great start.

* HYGIENE, a real biggie... it's always good to smell delicious. Nothing worse than meeting some-one with fur ball teeth and sweaty under arms.

Seriously guys this will totally get your date running for the hills.

Spend sometime grooming yourself, give your eyebrows a quick pluck and trim that nostril hair and most importantly shower, shower, shower.

ok, I know many of us out there love the shower and would be mortified that I am even suggesting showering... I mean doesn't everyone do it?! um, well, not all I'm afraid.

So, if your not prone to showering please do for your date, they will totally appreciate it.

Our sense of smell is so powerful and can really turn you on or off a person in a second.

Even if you don't have any smellies, soap can be just as good. Of course, if you do want to splash out then remember not to over kill, too much can be just as bad not showering. Mm, well maybe not, but you know what I mean.


*Wear CLOTHES that suit the occassion. If you are going for a walk along the beach then high heels and your trendy 1940's skirt is so not gona work (no matter how much you love it).

And guys if you are planning on taking your date out to dinner, don't turn up in your builders singlet with a picture of Bart Simpson plastered all over it.

If your not sure what to wear then ask a friend, and make sure its a friend you can trust.

Oh and girls as much as it's tempting to use your womanly charm and show off all that you have, save it. Seriously, what he can't see will be much more enticing...

* Lastly BE YOUSELF. This is sooooooooooooo important. Just try and relax and be you, warts an all. Ok, maybe save the warts for later. But remember, this is not a contract that you're bound to. It is just a date. Two people getting to know each other. Enjoy yourself and have some fun.

And no matter what be truthful ie if your not going to call then don't say you will but don't be so truthful that you mention the fact that you've just got over a nasty std... you get what I mean hey.
